Liverpool eye EPL star as Mohamed Salah’s potential successor

Liverpool is reportedly interested in signing Premier League star Bryan Mbeumo as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah in the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to Fichajes, Liverpool are keeping tabs on Mbeumo’s situation at Brentford with the club currently struggling in 16th place in the Premier League table.

The Cameroonian forward may be enticed by the prospect of joining Liverpool, where he can earn more than his current £45,000-per-week salary.

Mbeumo has been one of Brentford’s crucial players since his £6 million transfer from ESTAC Troyes in 2019.

He has scored 20 goals and made 19 assists in 88 league matches.

With Salah’s contract expiring next June, the Egyptian could leave for the Saudi Pro League, making Mbeumo an excellent replacement option for the Reds.
