Terem Moffi scored the decisive goal of the game to help OGC Nice beat Toulouse 1-0 in their Ligue 1 clash on Sunday.
The game ended goalless in the first half with both teams failing to carve out any clear-cut chance.
Moffi fired home in the 54th minute after he was set up by Morgan Sanson.
It was the 24-year-old’s first goal in seven league outings for Les Aiglons.
The Nigeria international has now scored four goals and registered two assists in 13 league outings for Les Aiglons this season.
Nice remain in second position on the table with 29 points from 13 games.
Francesco Farioli’s side will take on Nantes in their next game.
