Leverage on ongoing transformation to enhance professionalism – SWAN tells members

The leadership of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has admonished its members to leverage the ongoing transformations within the association to enhance professionalism.

Speaking in Taraba State over the weekend, the national president of the association, Isiah Benjamin, emphasized the improvements in registration procedures as a key area of focus.

Benjamin, who spoke through the Vice President of the North-East zone, Ahmed Amshi, urged members nationwide to use the newly upgraded SWAN website for streamlined registration and information sharing.

The national officials, as observed by our reporter, visited the state to oversee the just-concluded election of the state chapter of the association.

While praising Taraba SWAN for its outstanding performance and strong relationships with sports stakeholders, Benjamin expressed confidence in the state chapter.

He appealed to the state governor, Agbu Kefas, through the Commissioner of Youth and Sports Development, Joseph Joshua, for the provision of office space for the state SWAN.
