‘Legalise cannabis’ – Singer BNXN urges Nigerian Govt

Afrobeats singer Daniel Benson, aka BNXN, has urged the Federal Government to legalise Loud, an imported strong synthetic strain of cannabis.

Despite the popularity of the synthetic strain of cannabis among Nigerian youths, it remains legally prohibited in the country, with users at risk of serving jail terms.

Taking to his verified X handle m, BNXN made a passionate appeal to the Nigerian government to legalise Loud.

He wrote: “Make dem legalize loud for this side o.”

DAILY POST recalls that the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, recently berated rising singer, Ayo Maff for boasting about using Canadian Loud in his song ‘Last Week’.

Hundeyin stated that half of the youths in prison wouldn’t be there if they didn’t indulge in drugs, stressing that illicit drug is a precursor for crime.
