Lampard’s next possible job revealed

Former Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard, is on the shortlist to become the next England manager.

The Football Association are looking around for a new head coach despite Lee Carsley’s fine outing in two UEFA Nations League fixtures.

Carsley, who was brought in on an interim basis, took charge of the 2-0 wins over the Republic and Finland.

England impressed in both matches, their first since Gareth Southgate ended his eight-year tenure.

But the Daily Telegraph reports that the FA are not ruling out bringing in someone else when Carsley’s interim spell ends in November.

Pne of those who remain in the frame is Lampard. The 46-year-old is reportedly on a four-man shortlist separate to the option of appointing Carsley as Southgate’s permanent successor.
