Former Barcelona midfielder, Yaya Toure has picked Andres Iniesta over Lionel Messi and Xavi as his best Blaugrana teammate.
According to Toure, Messi and Xavi were great players, but Iniesta, who recently announced his retirement from football, had something ‘different’ about him.
Toure, Iniesta, Messi and Xavi were former teammates at Barcelona in the past.
“Messi was top, Iniesta was top, Xavi was great but I will say Iniesta,” Toure said (via GOAL) when speaking about his best Barcelona teammate.
“He had something different. Playing with him, wow! It was something else.”
Toure, who has since retired from football, played for Barcelona from 2007 to 2010.
The Ivorian eventually left the LaLiga giants for Premier League champions Manchester City in 2010.
