Nigeria winger, Chidera Ejuke has reacted to his strike in Sevilla’s 2-1 victory over Real Valladolid at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium on Tuesday night.
Ejuke, who came in as a second half substitute, scored the winning goal for Garcia Pimienta’s side five minutes from time.
The win was Sevilla’s second in LaLiga this season, and it moved them to 12th position on the log.
The explosive winger made history as the first Nigerian to score for the Rojiblancos.
Ejuke expressed his excitement on what he described an “important victory” for the team.
“I feel very good and happy. It is an important victory for the team,” Ejuke told the club’s official website.
“It’s incredible to score in front of the fans, it’s an incredible feeling and also get the victory. “I’m very happy.”
