Lagos-Calabar Coastal Project: Nigerian govt dragged to court

Funsho Doherty, the 2023 African Democratic Congress, ADC, governorship candidate in Lagos State, has instituted a legal action against the Nigerian government over the Lagos-Calabar Coastal road project.

Doherty explained that the legal action against the Nigerian Government was to enforce compliance with the law on the project.

In a pre-action notice, Doherty said government adherence to law and due process clearly cannot be assumed, adding that “it’s our duty to insist on leadership doing the right thing.”
