Labour Minister lauds workers’ contribution to Nigeria’s progress

Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha has saluted Nigerian workers, noting that their dedicated spirit, unrelenting toil and selfless patriotism in the face of challenges are the driving force behind the nation’s progress.

Onyejeocha noted that the contributions of Nigeria workers have been instrumental in propelling the Nigerian government forward as it navigates the challenges of economic recovery.

She spoke in a statement to mark the 2024 International Worker’s Day.

“This year’s theme, ‘People First’, resonates deeply with our administration’s commitment to prioritizing the well-being and dignity of all Nigerians,” the minister said.

Onyejeocha reiterated the dedication of government to creating a brighter future, where every citizen can thrive.

She urged workers to join forces with the President Bola Tinubu led administration to steer the country towards a path of productivity, prosperity and growth.

Onyejeocha implored Nigerian workers to remain steadfast in their dedication to the country’s progress.
