Kwara Gov appoints ex-Lagos SA as education adviser

The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has appointed Dr. Adetola Salau as his Special Adviser on Education, among other aides.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, and posted on the official X handle of the Kwara State Government on Saturday.

The statement partly read, ” Dr Salau, an indigene of Ifelodun, is a renowned education policy expert with specialisation in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, an area in which she has published several books and articles, including STEM is Key — a Resource book for understanding and deploying STEM education; STEM Activities in Algebra Geometry and Personal Finance; and STEM Activities for Primary and Junior Secondary Schools.

“She was until May 29, 2023, a Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Education.

“Salau holds a doctoral degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and the Science of Learning from the University of Buffalo, State University of New York. Her first degree was from Fordham University, where she was the best graduating student, while she had her master’s degree from Syracuse University.”
