Kwankwaso visits Otti, urges police to maintain professionalism

Former governor of Kano State and former presidential candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has visited the Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti in his country home, Nvosi Isiala Ngwa South LGA.

The visit, which took place on Saturday, was to console him on the death of former Governor of Abia State, Ogbonnaya Onu.

Kwankwaso who arrived Abia State with some of his close associates, was received by Governor Otti, even as the visit coincided with reception held for 15 indigenes of Abia State who recently graduated from the 6th Regular Course of Nigeria Police Academy, Kano and now commissioned into the Nigeria Police Force.

While advising the new graduates, the former Kano State Governor urged them to uphold professionalism in the discharge of their duties and to maintain the fear of God.

In his own address, Governor Alex Otti congratulated the new graduates from the Nigeria Police Academy on their achievements and urged them to remain good ambassadors of Abia State and to avoid unprofessional conducts.

He also thanked Kwankwaso for the visit, describing him as a patriotic Nigerian.

Responding on behalf of his colleagues, the leader of the police graduates, ASP Ochiabuto Uche Ejike promised to remain good ambassadors of the Nigeria Police Force, Abia State and Nigeria and thanked Governor Otti for the honour done to them.

No further details of the Kwankwaso visit had been made public by the Abia State government as of the time of this report.
