‘Keep going, God is good’ – Okocha tells nephew, Alex Iwobi amid cyberbullying

Nigerian legend, Austin Jay Jay Okocha, has urged his nephew, Alex Iwobi, who suffered cyberbullying following Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, final loss to Ivory Coast last Sunday, to “keep going”.

Taking to his Instagram account on Tuesday, Okocha, who said God is good, also prayed for Nigeria and and the people that can only hate and see nothing good in others.

The former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder said, ‘’I pray for my country Nigeria and the people that can only hate and see nothing good in others, when effort counts for nothing. Treat people the way you want them to treat you, all we have in this life is each other.

“We love you #alexanderiwobi and we keep going no matter what they say, the Lord is good all the time and we trust that his will be done in our lives amen.”

DAILY POST reports that following the loss to the Elephants, unpleasant remarks were hurled at Iwobi by some fans who faulted his performance in the match.
