Katsina United will sanction the club’s technical crew for allowing a wrong mode of dressing in their matchday 11 fixture against Sporting Lagos.
The Ikon Allah Boys have been fined N1m by the Nigeria Premier Football League over the incident
Rimi expressed dismay over what he described as unprofessionalism and vowed to take drastic measures against the culprits.
He noted that the technical crew and the team kits manager were aware of the league dressing code but went ahead to violate it.
Rimi said that such an attitude would tarnish the image of the club and sports-loving people of Katsina State.
He posited that the technical crew and the suspended kits manager would pay the fine imposed on the club by the league body following the incident.
DAILY POST recalled that Nigeria Premier Football League fined Katsina United N1m for the inappropriate display of the player’s name and number while the kits manager, Masudu Lawal received a one-year ban from all NPFL activities for improper conduct.
