Kano Pillars wonderkid Abdullahi joins Flying Eagles camp

Kano Pillars forward, Yusuf Abdullahi has joined the camp of the Flying Eagles as they prepare for the 13th All-African Games.

According to reports, Sai Masu Gida’s promising young talent was spotted with the rest of the players in the U-20 training camp.

Abdullahi, a pacy winger has hit the ground running in his debut season in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

The 17-year-old netted five goals in a game against Gombe United last year.

Abdullahi’s invitation is expected to provide a much-needed competition upfront in coach Ladan Bosso’s team.

The final list of players for the tournament is expected to be released next week.

Nigeria will face Uganda, South Sudan, Senegal and Tunisia in the group stage.

The All Africa Games is billed to be held in Ghana between 8-24 March 2024.
