Kaduna airstrike: Conduct impartial investigation – Islamic group urges military

An Islamic group, Jam’iyyatu Ansariddeen (Attijjaniyya), has requested the Nigerian Army to undertake a thorough, impartial, and comprehensive investigation into the bombing of a village in Kaduna State.

The group’s National Secretary, Saiyadi Yahaya, made the appeal during a news conference in Abuja on Tuesday.

Yahaya also requested transparency and accountability in the pursuit of the culprits.

No one, he said, should be above the law, and those involved, regardless of position or status, must be held accountable.

He also asked the Federal Government to put in place a fair and effective compensation system for the families affected by the tragedy.

Similarly, Yahaya solicited financial and emotional assistance for the affected people in order to reconstruct their lives, to enable cope with the enormous loss they suffered.

He said, “As the National Secretary of Jam’iyyatu Ansariddeen whose members were affected by the tragic killing of innocent civilians in Tudun Biri Village, Kaduna State.

“I stand before you to express our collective grief, demand justice, and propose recommendations to prevent future occurrences.”
