Jigawa: Gov Namadi sets up mobile courts for monthly sanitation

Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has set up five mobile courts to trial violators of monthly sanitation.

State commissioner for environment, Dr. Nura Ibrahim Dandoka disclosed this while responding to questions from newsmen during the monthly sanitation in Dutse, the state capital.

He said the mobile courts were set up in all the five emirates in the state, including, Hadejia, Gumel, Kazaure, Ringim and Dutse.

The establishment of the mobile courts was aimed at enforcing environmental and sanitation laws in the state.

Governor Malam Umar Namadi led the state executive and legislative members in taking part in the environmental sanitation.

He said the policy on monthly environment sanitation is aimed at promoting personal and environmental hygiene in the state.
