Iwuanyanwu was a peace lover, bridge builder— Okupe

A former Presidential Spokesperson, Doyin Okupe, has described Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, the late President-General of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, as a lover of peace and a bridge builder.

Okupe, a former Director-General of the Labour Party, LP, Presidential Campaign Council, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, on Friday in Lagos.

He was reacting to the death of Iwuanyanwu, a businessman and a media mogul, on Thursday in Abuja at 82.

“Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, a great Nigerian, has passed on. A lover of peace and a formidable bridge builder.

“He served his people dutifully, passionately till the very end. Nigeria will miss him,” Okupe said.
