Ilechukwu targets more success with NPFL champions Rangers

Fidelis Ilechukwu is looking forward to achieving more success with Rangers next season, DAILY POST reports.

Ilechukwu led the Flying Antelopes to win the Nigeria Premier Football League title in the just concluded season.

It was the Coal City club’s first title since 2016 and eighth overall.

Rangers finished the 2023/24 season with a 2-1 win at Gombe United on Sunday.

The Enugu club will represent Nigeria in the CAF Champions League next season.

“This is a great day for all of us in Rangers and we give God the glory,” Ilechukwu said after the win against Gombe United.

“This is a victory for the government and people of Enugu State who supported us through thick and thin till we got to where we are today as champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League.

“We hope to get a few legs to add to this team to challenge for both domestic and continental honours next season effectively.”
