I was unconscious, abandoned in hospital — Ex-Minister Dalung

Nigeria’s former Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Solomon Dalung, has narrated his recent ordeal, saying he was abandoned to his fate.

He narrated his experience in a post on his X handle on Friday.

Dalung said he took ill on Wednesday and arrived at the hospital but shortly became unconscious after doctor’s interviews.

The ex-minister narrated that he was ferried into emergency ward but abandoned for over four hours due to non-payments of admission deposits.

Dalung said he regained partial consciousness latter and did the transfer of deposit.

He said: “I took ill on Wednesday, arrived at the hospital & shortly became unconscious after doctor’s interviews.

“Was ferried into emergency ward but abandoned for over 4 hrs due to non payment of admission deposits. Regained partial consciousness later, did the transfer of deposit.”
