I don’t miss being President – Buhari

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has said he does not miss anything at the Presidential Villa.

The former Head of State appeared on NTA earlier in the week to give some insights about his administration and life after occupying the number one office in the country.

Buhari led Nigeria for eight years and many Nigerians believe he left a country with an economy worse than he met it.

Buhari said he doubts if he misses anything about being a President and thanked God for giving him the opportunity to serve his country.

According to him, it is left for Nigerians to judge his achievement while in office, insisting he cannot twist the people’s opinion.

Asked the very thing he missed he said, “Miss?” laughed and added, “Oh dear me! I don’t think I missed much.” Pressed to say at least one thing he missed, he said, “well, I don’t know. People have their opinions but I thank God.

“God gave me the opportunity to serve my people and I did my best. Whether my best is good enough is up to the people to judge.”
