I can’t be intimidated out of Edo guber race – Shaibu

Edo State Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu, on Thursday declared that no individual or group can intimidate him out of the September 21 governorship election.

Shaibu, who stated this when he returned his Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, nomination form for the gubernatorial election, at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja on Thursday, claimed that he has all it takes to win the polls.

Shaibu alleged that some elders of the party had been bought over by the highest bidders.

He, however, expressed confidence that youths and some elders, who are strongly behind him would secure the party’s ticket for him.

“By the grace of God, our support is organic, it is not procured. I am not an aspirant that is being pushed; I am not an aspirant that is cut off from the people.
