Saddened by the economic situation of the country, Bashir El-Rufai, son of the former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, on Wednesday said he is frustrated.
Bashir had in a post on his official X handle, lambasted the current administration led by President Bola Tinubu over the hardship imposed on Nigerians.
In the post, Bashir said no public office holder would be too big to be voted out of power in the 2027 election, stressing that their political strategies would fail.
He wrote, “Nobody is too big to be elected out of office by the people. It will happen & wallahi nothing will happen. So forget all these intimidations flying up and down. Let us be patient.
“Even IMF & World Bank no go save una that time. Political strategist una. That one na for Lagos”.
Angered by Bashir’s outburst, an X user, @EerieGhostWorld, while commenting on the post wrote, “All I see is frustration”.
Reacting to the comment, Bashir admitted that he is frustrated like every other Nigerian in the street.
He wrote, “Of course I am frustrated. Every single NIGERIAN is frustrated. Do you ever venture into the street & speak with actual human beings”?
