Real Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, has named Carlo Ancelotti as one of the greatest coaches of all-time.
The Belgium international described the Italian as a great man and a fantastic coach.
Courtois spoke ahead of Real Madrid’s UEFA Super Cup final with Atalanta at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw, Poland, on Wednesday.
“Ancelotti is a great man. He has a wonderful personality and he’s a fantastic coach.
“He strikes that balance between giving us freedom and imposing a tactical approach. He manages the dressing room and the training sessions brilliantly.
“I think he is one of the greatest coaches of all time. He’s shown it at every club he’s managed. When he retires, he will be acknowledged as one of the best coaches in history,” Courtois told UEFA’s official media channels.
Ancelotti has coached several top clubs in his managerial career so far including Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Juventus, Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Everton and now Real Madrid.
