Health insurance: OHIA releases timetable for enrollment of pensioners in Osun

The Osun Health Insurance Agency (OHIA) has released an itinerary for the enrollment of pensioners into the Osun Health Insurance Scheme (OHIS).

This comes after a directive by the state governor, Ademola Adeleke.

Governor Adeleke had directed that pensioners in the state should be enrolled in the state’s health insurance scheme.

Dr Akintunde Akindele, the OHIS Executive Secretary, during the last quarterly forum meeting with healthcare providers on Thursday in Osogbo, confirmed the directive.

Akindele revealed that the Agency will enroll 19,000 pensioners into the scheme.

According to a schedule signed by Akindele and obtained on Sunday, the enrollment will commence on Monday, November 6, 2023.
