Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has wished the England Football Association, FA, and Thomas Tuchel the best.
The FA this week appointed Tuchel as the new head coach of the Three Lions.
Before then, Guardiola was heavily linked with the role since Gareth Southgate left after Euro 2024.
Speaking ahead of City’s trip to Wolves, Guardiola said: “Thomas Tuchel is the manager.
“I congratulate them. The FA and Thomas for a big job.
“I wish England – for the fact I am nine years here – the very best for both of them.”
