They also called for the establishment of a Commission for Persons with Disabilities.

According to them, “when the Commission is established, it would be domiciled directly under the governor who oversee the affairs of persons with disabilities”.

They also called for the establishment of disability desks and engagement of sign language interpreters in government institutions, especially healthcare facilities, to enable persons with disabilities to access health care services.
