The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke has demanded quality and harmonious working relationships from members of the Inter-party Advisory Council, IPAC, Osun State Chapter.

Governor Adeleke said the partnership would enable both parties jointly move Osun State forward.

He said the relationship would be beneficial in the area of giving advice where necessary to further enhance the progress of the state.

The Osun governor made this known while hosting members of the Osun IPAC in his office recently.

Adeleke also stressed that his administration is open to deep engagement with the political class which the association represented.

In his words, “Once the election is over, it should be in the best interest of every political class to be thinking of how the elected government will succeed. We should always be aware of the wisdom and thinking of the citizenry.

“When my government started paying half salary debts owed by the past administration, the public was happy, when we enrolled our senior citizens into OHIS, the perception of the citizenry changed about the political class for the better.

“I want you to note that, after the election, governance begins and we must all come together with good political ideologies to jointly take the state to greater heights.”

He also promised to accede to the many requests of IPAC by taking necessary actions on them.

Speaking earlier, the Osun IPAC Chairman, Victor Akande, noted that the purpose of visiting the Governor was to acquaint him with the newly elected executive of the council.

Akande explained that IPAC is not an opposition to the present administration but a partner in progress.

While promising to give necessary support to ensure Governor Adeleke’s success in office, Akande added that the governor’s success was also that of Osun IPAC.
