Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has received the interim report of the state’s development master plan.
He was presented the report over the weekend by the consulting firm assigned with the responsibility of developing the plan.
After listening to the consultants from the firm, Brudnell Consulting Limited, the governor urged them to expedite the completion of the development plan to enable his administration to begin the urbanisation process in Jalingo, the state capital.
Kefas, who also emphasised his administration’s unwavering commitment to the “Moving Forward” mantra, aimed at laying a solid foundation and establishing a blueprint for future administrations to build upon, expressed his appreciation for the interim report and assured the firm of the government’s full support.
Earlier, the Chief Executive Officer of the consulting firm, Alex, assured that the project would be completed within the stipulated timeline
He also announced that the firm has engaged with both local and international partners who, according to him, have indicated their interest in it.
