Gombe United goalkeeper, Kazeem Yekini, believed that the matchday 15 fixture against Katsina United is an opportunity for his team to improve their position on the table.
The Savannah Tigers currently occupy 15th position on the NPFL table.
Yekini said with focus and dedication the team can record a good result against the Chanji Boys.
“Consistency is key in football, especially in a competitive league like ours,” he told NPFL troll.
“Each match is an opportunity to gather points and climb up the ladder. We need to maintain focus, work hard, and continue the momentum to improve our position.
“Katsina United is a formidable opponent, but we’re ready for the challenge. We aim to continue our positive momentum, give our best on the field, and hopefully secure another positive result for Gombe United.”
Gombe United will play host to Katsina United at the Pantami Stadium, Gombe.
Gombe United defeated Katsina United 1-0 during their last meeting in the NPFL.
