Enyimba technical adviser, Finidi George has described his team’s 1-1 draw against Sunshine Stars as difficult.
The People’s Elephant rallied round to secure a point at the Ondo State sports complex in Akure.
Promise Awosanmi opened the scoring for Sunshine Stars in the 46th minute, before Chidiebere Nnachi equalised for Enyimba 11 minutes later.
“The game against Sunshine Stars was a difficult one,” he told the club’s media.
“The game was equal and I think the draw was a good one, both teams wanted to win without a lot of chances but I think the result was a good one for both teams.
“We will build on the result going forward in the league.”
Enyimba occupy second position on the table with 52 points from 31 games.
