Finidi George to use new players in Super Eagles’ next friendly

Super Eagles interim coach, Finidi George, has admitted he will include some new players in his starting line-up for the game against Mali on Monday.

Finidi was speaking after Nigeria defeated Ghana 2-1 in an international friendly on Friday.

Players like Wilfred Ndidi, Cyriel Dessers, Kelechi Ihenacho, and Bright Osayi-Samuel started against the Black Stars.

Benjamin Tanimu was also handed his debut for Nigeria as he started in defence.

Ahead of the second game against Mali, Finidi has revealed that there will be a few changes.

“Definitely, we are going to see new players. Definitely, we cannot overload the players.

“Some will come in, and we will see the areas where they can help,” Finidi said per NFF TV.
