Family of three relocating from Lagos to Calabar disappears without trace

Lagos State residents, Yakubu Ndahi, his wife Ann Lady Yakubu and their little son have been declared missing.

DAILY POST gathered that Yakubu and his family had on August 10, departed Lagos State for Calabar, Cross Rivers State via a private vehicle but failed to arrive at their destination.

Ann’s elder sister, Blessing Alechenu told DAILY POST on Thursday that she last heard from the couple at about 2pm, when they were still around Onitsha, Anambra State.

She said her family became worried after it was discovered that Mr Yakubu and his family failed to land at their destination in Calabar, days after they left Lagos State.

According to her, since August 10 till date, all efforts to reach the family have proved abortive, stating that their phone numbers have remained switched off.

According to her, “they left Lagos for Calabar on the 10th of this month, I was chatting with my sister while they were still on their way. They were around Onitsha when I heard from them last.

“As at 6 to 7pm, their numbers were ringing but they could not pick up. After some hours, the number went off and we couldn’t reach them till now”.

She, however, said that the matter has been reported to the Lagos State Police command.
