This was disclosed by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in a tweet via his X account on Sunday.
“Deportivo La Coruña remains in active talks with Fabio Cannavaro as a candidate for the new manager job,” Romano tweeted.
“After recent contacts reported by @relevo, talks are still ongoing to make a final decision soon — as Cannavaro did help Udinese to avoid relegation last season.”
Canavaro helped Udinese to avoid relegation last season.
The former Italian defender has coached the likes of Benevento, Al Nassr and Guangzhou Evergrande in the past.
