Former Chelsea star, Chris Sutton has predicted today’s FA Cup clash between the Blues and Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.
Sutton also predicted Tottenham Hotspur’s FA Cup home clash against Manchester City.
In his column for BBC Sport, Sutton said: “The cups offer a way for Chelsea to save their season and they are already in the final of the Carabao Cup after beating Middlesbrough.
“All of this is making me think that Chelsea will edge it but I have been wrong about them plenty of times this season already. Chelsea 2-1 Aston Villa.”
On the Tottenham vs Man City clash, Sutton added, “It is going to be a corker of a tie, but City boss Pep Guardiola always goes strong in the FA Cup and, with no Son, that gives the holders the edge. Tottenham 2-3 Man City.”
The kick-off time for Chelsea vs Aston Villa is 8.45 p.m, while that of Tottenham vs Man City is 9pm.
