Super Eagles trio, Ademola Lookman, Victor Boniface and Nathan Tella will put friendship aside when their clubs, Atalanta and Bayer Leverkusen clash in the final of the UEFA Europa League on Wednesday night (today).
Lookman, who has been one of the top performers for Atalanta this season, will hope to get the better of Boniface and Tella, as well as their Bayer Leverkusen teammates.
The highly anticipated encounter is slated for the AVIVA Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.
Lookman played a crucial role in Atalanta’s semi-final victory over Olympic Marseille.
The winger scored once and bagged an assist in the second leg 3-0 victory at the Gewiss Stadium.
Boniface, who is expected to lead Leverkusen’s attack against La Dea, has scored five times in the Europa League this season.
Tella has also contributed immensely to Leverkusen’s march to the final.
Bayer Leverkusen are unbeaten in 51 games across all competitions this season.
