Europa Conference League: Chelsea’s possible play-off opponents [Full list]

Chelsea are facing an early start to the 2024/2025 season following their qualification for the Europa Conference League.

The Blues missed out on a Europa League spot after Manchester United defeated Manchester City 2-1 in last season’s FA Cup final.

The win secured Europa League qualification for the Red Devils after they had finished eighth in the Premier League.

Chelsea will enter the Conference League at the play-off round stage.

Enzo Maresca’s men will play a two-legged tie to secure a place in the league stage.

They will face the winner of Europa Conference League third-qualifying round ties:

Maribor (SVN) or Vojvodina (SRB)

Ruzomberok (SVK) or Hajduk Split (CRO)

Ararat-Armenia (ARM) or Puskas Akadenua (HUN)

Kilmarnock (SCO) or Tromso (NOR)

St Mirren (SCO) or Brann (NOR)

The draw for the Europa Conference League play-off round will be held on August 5 at 1pm, while the two play-off fixtures will take place on August 22 and 29.

The draw for the league phase will be held on August 30.
