British broadcaster, Piers Morgan, has named Lamine Yamal as “football’s new superstar”.
Yamal was named Man of the Match, as Spain defeated France 2-1 in the first semi-final at Euro 2024.
The Barcelona winger became the youngest player to score in the competition after scoring the equalizer.
Morgan, writing on X, said: “Spain deserved that.
“They play with attacking flair, which has been in short supply at these Euros.
“And this 16-year-old kid is football’s new superstar. Take a bow, Lamine Yamal.”
