EPL: Why Man Utd lost 2-0 to West Ham – Ten Hag

Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has reflected on his side’s 2-0 defeat at West Ham on Saturday.

The Red Devils suffered their eighth defeat of the campaign after only 18 fixtures at the London Stadium.

Jarrod Bowen opened the scoring for the hosts after being played in by Lucas Paqueta in the 72nd minute.

The Hammers then confirmed three points thanks to Mohammed Kudus’ low finish.

Speaking after the game, Ten Hag said: “We were dominant, but we didn’t score. We were in total control in and out of possession.

“We gave them nothing until the 72nd minute when we switched off.”

United welcome Aston Villa next on Boxing Day.
