EPL: Too easy – Thierry Henry identifies tactical mistake Sheffield United coach made against Arsenal

Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry has identified the tactical mistake Sheffield United manager, Chris Wilder made during his side’s Premier League 6-0 defeat against the Gunners on Monday.

Goals from Martin Odegaard, Jayden Bogle (own goal), Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz, Declan Rice and Ben White gave Arsenal the win over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

Asked whether he felt the scoreline was down to Arsenal’s brilliance or Sheffield United’s woefulness, Henry suggested that Wilder would have played with five defenders against Mikel Arteta’s side and also ensured his team ‘bite’ the visitors.

“A bit of both. It is easy to be sitting here, watching the game when you are not the coach,” Henry told Sky Sports.

“Playing Arsenal in a back four was extremely brave. You have to play them in a back five. If Arsenal play like that and you don’t bite, without stepping up… it is just not good enough. Too easy.

“It is going to be a long night for Wilder and an enjoyable one for Arsenal.”
