Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has admitted that there is nothing the Gunners can do amid the Premier League title race this season.
Arteta spoke after Arsenal’s Premier League 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Sunday.
Gabriel Martinelli put the visitors in front before Pedro Neto equalised for Enzo Maresca’s side at Stamford Bridge.
The result leave Arsenal in fourth position with 9 points behind league leaders Liverpool on the Premier League table.
Arteta’s side are also behind Chelsea and Manchester City.
When asked about Arsenal’s title race, Arteta said at his post-match interview: “There’s nothing that we can do about that.
“What I’m praying is that we have the team fully physically equipped. It’s been a nightmare.
“So I’m just asking that because the desire and how much we want it, there’s no question.”
