Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is set to buy Ajax striker Brian Brobbey, according to The Mirror.
Ten Hag is in the middle of a tough season, with United sitting in eighth place in the Premier League.
The Red Devils have also been knocked out of the Carabao Cup and the Champions League.
Ten Hag handed Brobbey his debut for Ajax in 2020 and is eyeing a move, with Anthony Martial’s contract set to run out in the summer.
The Dutchman is also said to want to bring in a forward in January but the club’s financial position means that will only be a loan.
That rules out any move for Brobbey until at least the summer.
