EPL: Ten Hag hits out at Man Utd players after 1-1 draw at Brentford

Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has accused his players of lacking “passion” and “fight” in their 1-1 draw with Brentford.

United were outplayed for the majority of the match at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday.

And although Mason Mount gave them the lead in the 96th minute, Kristoffer Ajer levelled for the Bees three minutes later.

Ten Hag said after the game: “We showed resilience all through the game but in points of aggressiveness Brentford were better.

“We should show more passion and desire in many moments in the game. But when you are winning [so late on] you should bring it over the line.

“We didn’t play well but there was spirit, there was fight, but not enough.”
