Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes has slammed Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes after the club’s 1-0 defeat to Newcastle on Saturday.
Rashford put in another poor display and was replaced after 61 minutes.
Scholes also criticized Fernandes for “upsetting the formation” of the team.
Speaking after the match, Scholes was irritated by Rashford’s reaction after he was substituted.
“What is he surprised about? I don’t get it. What is he thinking he should still be on the pitch for? He was causing the team more harm than good.
“Marcus last year was brilliant and he’s got ability, there is no doubt about that.
“But when you decide to walk back like was, and he comes off and behaves like that, I do not think it’s good for the team,” Scholes told Premier League Productions.
United now sit in seventh place on the Premier League table with 24 points.
Erik ten Hag’s men will welcome Chelsea in the next fixture on Wednesday night.
