Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has hailed Antony for his fine assist to Alejandro Garnacho in the Red Devils’ Premier League 4-3 away defeat to Chelsea on Thursday.
Recall that Conor Gallagher and Cole Palmer netted a goal each in the opening 19 minutes at Stamford Bridge.
Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes helped the Red Devils restore parity in the first half.
Following Garnacho’s 67th-minute goal, Ferdinand praised the Brazilian international for his fine show of technical ability on the right flank.
Ferdinand told TNT Sports:
“Antony has just produced one of the balls of the season. The audacity to even take it on.”
