Former England midfielder Jamie Redknapp has insisted that Arsenal remain among the Premier League title favourites despite their 2-1 defeat to Fulham on Sunday.
It was the second successive defeat for the Gunners as they had lost 2-0 to West Ham in midweek.
Redknapp, speaking on Sky Sports, called on manager Mikel Arteta to resolve issues within the team.
He said: “I don’t think they’re far off. It’s just not quite clicking at the moment. They’re losing their way a little bit.
“Do I put them in the equation to win the league? Absolutely.
“I still think there are only three runners: Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal. The title will come from one of those three teams.”
Arsenal welcome Liverpool in the FA Cup fourth round this Sunday, before they embark on a winter break and then host Crystal Palace in the league.
