EPL: Rashford refuses Man Utd’s attempts to sell him

Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford, will resist any attempts by the club to sell him this summer, the UK Sun reports.

This comes after claims that United’s entire squad is up for sale, except for Kobbie Mainoo, Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho.

New co-owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is looking to overhaul the team ahead of next season, in a bid to restore them to their former glories.

Rashford’s potential exit is attractive to the Red Devils, given any cash raised in a sale would count as pure profit due to the forward’s status as an academy graduate, thereby helping them to deal with FFP restrictions.

However, the 26-year-old – who is valued at £80million – will oppose United’s attempts to move him on.

Rashford is happy in Manchester and is not keen on a transfer away from his boyhood club.
