EPL: Postecoglou gives green light for sale of 7 Tottenham players [Full list]

At least seven Tottenham Hotspur players could be sold this summer as manager Ange Postecoglou’s rebuild continues, according to reports.

Despite a very strong start to this season, Spurs’ season has petered out with a run of only two wins in eight, all but ending their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League.

Realistically, Postecoglou’s men must win all three of their remaining fixtures and hope that Aston Villa fail to win their last two to finish in the top four.

However, the club are already preparing for the 2024–2025 campaign in the Europa League.

Tottenham want to improve their squad depth, knowing that their fixture load will increase.

After spending £234 million in his first summer, Postecoglou will be back in the upcoming transfer window as he looks to sign three key players.

The Aussie wants a centre-back, midfielder and striker, but to fund this, the club are ready to offload seven stars.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Giovani Lo Celso, Ryan Sessegnon and Bryan Gil, who all cost a combined £86.5 million, are set to be offloaded after failing to break into Postecoglou’s plans.

Emerson Royal is also up for sale. Perhaps most surprisingly, Richarlison and Yves Bissouma could also be axed despite only signing for the club two years ago, with their form often blowing hot and cold.
