Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has criticised his team following the Blues’ Premier League 3-2 win over Brighton on Sunday.
Pochettino also commented on Conor Gallagher’s red card, suggesting why Chelsea defeated Brighton at Stamford Bridge.
DAILY POST recalls that Gallagher’s was sent off for two bookings before halftime.
Enzo Fernandez and Levi Colwill scored the goals for Pochettino’s side against the visitors.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Pochettino insisted that his players were a little bit flat when they conceded a goal towards the end of the first half.
“The team was really good; I feel very proud because Newcastle was tough and then again, Brighton is always difficult to play and in the first 25 minutes we scored twice and were controlling the game,” Pochettino said.
“We were a little bit flat when we conceded at the end of the first half in the second half and then Gallagher was sent off. It wasn’t a red card, but that is my opinion; maybe I am wrong.”
