Fulham manager Marco Silva has explained the importance of Alex Iwobi to the team’s progress this season.
The Whites moved to eighth position on the Premier League table following Saturday’s 2-0 away win at Crystal Palace.
Iwobi provided the assist for Harry Wilson’s second goal.
The Nigeria international has so far scored two goals and registered two assists for the London club this season.
“He’s (Wilson) doing the right things. He’s not doing anything wrong to not start. He’s competing against very good players, too,” Silva told a press conference after the game.
“Alex, for example, is being one of the best players so far this season, if not the best. From the first day of the pre-season, he’s been so, so brilliant,” Silva said after the game.
