EPL: Manchester United in secret talks with Graham Potter for managerial position

Former Chelsea manager Graham Potter was reportedly in secret talks with Manchester United’s incoming sporting director, Dan Ashworth, to discuss the possibility of him taking over as the club’s new manager, according to the Sun UK.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who acquired 25% of Man United, has identified Potter as his top choice to replace current manager Erik ten Hag, who has struggled to get good results this season.

Potter, who has previously managed Chelsea and worked wonders at Brighton, is highly regarded by many top clubs.

Despite turning down a number of offers, the Englishman appears to be interested in replacing Ten Hag if the opportunity arises.

While Zinedine Zidane is admired by Ratcliffe, rumors suggest that the Frenchman is not likely to accept the position at Old Trafford.
